Snowboarding

Otherwise known as sledding. Julia received a purple sled for Christmas. We were hoping for a good snow so she could use it before spring. Boy did we get our wish. Back on January 31st, the temperature dropped 54 degrees and we were blessed with 8.5 inches of powder. Like much of St. Louis, we had a snow day on Friday-even UMSL closed! As is tradition in St. Louis, we headed out to Art Hill (the hill in front of the St. Louis Art Museum). There were a lot of people there. They had fires in the fire pits and a news crew was filming the fun. Here are pictures of Julia's first "snowboarding" experience.

Oh that looks like so much fun. I wish we had a good hill like that around here somewhere. We played in the snow too, but didn't get to sled. Maybe next winter. Hey, if you get a chance, can you email me that chili recipe you made for Justin's party? It was so good. Hope you all are doing well. Next time you are here, we need to get some good Julia and Gracie playtime in! How cute would that be?
